Pineau des Charentes is a delicious, traditional aperitif composed of Cognac blended with unfermented grape juice or must. Park Pineau is made of 76% grape must (composed of 50% Montils, 30% Colombard, and 20% Ugni Blanc), and 24% Cognac eau-de-vie. The grapes are pressed immediately after harvest and blended with the eau-de-vie. The Pineau is rested in stainless steel vats for 6 months, then aged between 2-4 years, with at least 1 year in lightly toasted oak. Delicate and floral, this aperitif is delicious any way you choose to enjoy it—from chilled over ice to a vermouth substitute in cocktails.
