Trail's End Aged 10 years.

Trail’s End is an ultra-premium Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished with Oregon Oak. This is a special reserve limited release done by Joe O’Sullivan at Clear Creek. The re-aging process is done differently than with the 8 year expression. With the 10 year, the bourbon is finished in new Oregon Oak casks (vs. the 8 year, done with lightly toasted staves). Also, Trail’s End 10 year is cut to 105 proof (vs the 8 year, done at 90). The finished product is amazing! 

TASTE: Initial introduction of caramel, vanilla, cherry, and roasted corn with a foundation of warm, earthy notes of summer pine and high desert moss. Bitter orange and delicate hints of lilac are hidden beneath the vanilla and oak.

AROMAS: Considerably less opening bite with the introduction of Garryana Oak. Focused aromas of vanilla, caramel, and cherry, with warm summer pine at the end.
